About The Keeling Family
Growing up in central Oregon is great for a young boy especially if you like the outdoors. My grandfather turned me on to taxidermy at the age of 8.
While camping in the Ochoco Mountains I shot my first squirrel and didn't want to get rid of it so my grandfather suggested that I skin it out and stuff it. I found some fishing line for the incisions and paper towels for the stuffing. The end result was ...well...interesting.
I continued dabbling in taxidermy. Later in life I attended taxidermy school to fine tune my skills and preserve outdoor memories for family and friends. I soon found it growing into a career I truly enjoy.
